The Flower Garden
Welcome to my flower garden at Soul Heirs. This category is dedicated to John P. Day, my beloved brother who passed on early in life due to a brain tumor. His spirit walks with me always, always. He himself was an avid lover of the floral world, a horticulturist, employed in the business of bereavement - he worked at funeral parlors lending comfort to grieving family and friends. Contrary to working with those passing souls, he was a great lover of life - the simple things such as a flower in bloom. I have so many floral pins and brooches that I felt these jewels of romantic symbolism deserved a category of their own. Flowers are everywhere! When we think of flowers, we think of gardens, bouquets to enhance one's well being, weddings and yes, even funerals. There are so many themes on flowers that one could go on forever. Presented, I bring you many styles from different periods made from metals, stones, glass, porcelain and other materials. Remember to stop and smell the flowers.
