Yuletide Spirits
"Not a creature was stirring.." except maybe some spirits of past souls and Santa......Presented are holiday baubles and curios to express our love of the holidays - whatever one's perception is of Christmas, Santa Claus is here to stay and perhaps he's the one jolly old soul that makes that grand connection happen on Planet Earth one night every year on December 24th. I do believe, I do! My brother, John P. Day passed away on Christmas Eve. He was Santa's helper for many years and put smiles on the faces of many children. That sad evening of his passing, I suddenly heard a "ping" from a bulb on my tree. There was not a wind anywhere, all was still and I knew in my heart that John was finally on that great sleigh ride in the sky with a twinkle in his eyes as bright as the stars. All hearts do come home for Christmas!
