Ear Ornaments
The practice of wearing ear ornaments on the ear lobes is shrouded in mystery beginning from the cave dwellers. Earrings were worn as amulets of good luck, to ward off evil spirits, to secure health, and today, to provide a fashion or spiritual statement. I know spirits who wear the same earrings day after day. Perhaps they belonged to a loved one past, or given to them as a statement of eternal love. Whatever the history or reasons the desire to adorn these wonderful lobe ornaments will last throughout the ages. Presented are studs, pendant style, hoops as well as the far out and funky. I include pierced, screw-back and clip-on styles to accommodate individual lobes.
