Amber
Amber and the diamond are the only two stones of vegetable origin.  It is perhaps the earliest stone used in the incorporation of personal adornment. Amber is the lightest gem in weight and warm to the touch with its containment of static electricity. Said to have many healing powers - such a magical stone! Please care for your amber properly, using only flannel cloth and lukewarm water to clean and polish with a clean flannel cloth. One last thought on care; do not expose amber to light for long periods and store in a separate box or section of your jewelry box.
