Independence Day
July 4th, 1776, America claims her independence from England. A new dream is born! Free from the hold of England's rule, America declares its freedom to dissolve political bands. The words " Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness should never be taken for granted as we so solemnly felt on 9/11/2001. The road to freedom was a hard fight for many who never realized the dream as they so devotedly gave their lives for America, as we know it today. True, it is not a perfect country, it is evolving, but when the going gets rough, us tough Americans get going. There is no stronger a nation than America for which those souls who occupy this vast and beautiful land will band together through thick and through thin - a marriage of the peoples. Yes, God Bless America - there is no better place on Earth that I can think to call my home. Happy Birthday America!
