Long Neck Beauty

Presented is a carved female bust that exaggerates the neck as a sensual focal point. This piece has a sticker marked "Made in China and Direct Connection, Industry, Ca.. It is dated 1997-2000. This is not an older piece but I found it so stunning as it depicts the female physique so realistically. The detailing in this piece are so life like and three dimentional, right down to the the openings of her nostrils to the pupils in her eyes. The lines in her neck are spectacular. She has a small spit curl atop her head. The material used appears to be alabaster or could be a new resin. I do see fine lines in the stone through my jeweler's loupe, indicative of a stone material. This bust measures approximately 4 3/4 in height by 1 3/4" in width at the widest point. Condition is excellent. |
