Sterling Modernist/Abstract Fish Pin

Presented is a a sterling silver abstract/modernist fish brooch marked LcS. The S looks like a backwards question mark. Through my research, I am unable to identify the craftsman but it looks to be of Scandinavian design. This pin has a hammered texture. Such a basic design concept which lends to the elegance of this piece. The silver has a patina of a soft pale yellow glow so I decided to polish it. I will leave this up to the buyer. Pin measures approximately 2 1/4" in length by 3/4" in height. The locking catch and pin stem is in good working order. This pin is in excellent condition. Age is unknown - could be 50's/60's. |
