14 Kt Gold Filled Pin with Jade Stone
Presented, is a 14 Kt gold filled stylized pin marked BOJAR and 14 K G.F.. I am not familiar with this maker. It appears that this pin was made in the 50's/60's era. The center dark green molted stone (flower) appears to be jade which is cabochon cut. This stone is prong set using flat floral shaped prongs - very unique. The loop design around the stone comes down to form tied branches with two veined leaves. There is some very nice engraved detail in both the leaves and has lines in the loop above the stone. This piece resembles "Van Dell" jewelry, having the same quality. Pin measures approximately 1 3/4" in height by 3/4" in width. |
