Solid Sterling Cuff with Crushed Stones
Presented, is a solid sterling cuff bracelet with a scalloped bezel and twisted rope design inside the scallop. Set in the bezel is a unique design of crushed stones of pale coral and yellow, sky blue and white with silver channels that separate each color and design element. Material of stones is unknown, but they have a shimmering effect and are very stunning. The entire design is encapsulated in some type of clear resin - presumably to protect the stone chips from falling out as so many older pieces did. This leads me to believe it is of newer origin. Age is unknown. There is a maker's mark that looks the a moon sliver with an R above on the right side. The cuff has 925 stamped in the silver. Cuff measures approximately 6" from end to end with a 1 1/2" opening between the ends. The stone, including the bezel is 1 1/4" in height by 1" in width. This cuff weighs approximately 26.5 grams. It is in excellent condition. |
