Cameo Book Locket
Very old cameo book locket with carnelian color background and depiction of two romans in black and white. Nice floral/filigree work frames this cameo. Metal is unknown - but could be pinchbeck. I believe the original loop is missing as the one currently shown does not match the locket. Locket opens for placement of two pictures inside oval frames. Latch on locket works well. I an not sure of the material of the cameo itself - could be resin. Chain is not included. Very delicate in appearance. |
