Cameo Set by "Imperial Jewels"
This is a complete set of clip earrings, bracelet and pendant made by Imperial Jewels of Paris/New York still in the original box. The cameos appear to be white glass with a black beveled background . Age is unknown but could be from the 50's judging from the box and design. I am not sure if the chain goes with the set as it attracts to a magnet where the other pieces do not. Set appears to be gold plated. Some of the plating is off but it is not very noticeable. This set reminds me of the old five and dime jewelry of the early fifties. Glamorous indeed, but made for the masses. Bracelet is about 6 1/2" in length , necklace is 16" in length and the clip-back earrings measure approximately 3/4" in height. Being a generation" BabyBoom", I can certainly appreciate the post WWII effort to forget about the war years, go out on the town with your best jewels and have a heck of a good time. Condition is good. |
